Rosemary Hair Growth Spray

I love this hair growth spray. It’s so easy to make, easy to use, smells amazing, leaves my hair feeling so silky soft and my scalp feeling fresh, clean and revived.

These are the ingredients I used. You can use fresh or dried herbs. You could change up the herbs used; just do a Google search on herbs for hair care.

3 cups water
1 tablespoon dried rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus)
1 tablespoon dried nettle (Urtica dioica)
1 teaspoon dried lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)

Bring the water to a boil. Add your herbs to the water. Simmer, covered 15–20 minutes.

I keep this covered while simmering to prevent the beneficial oils from evaporating with the steam.

Remove from heat. Allow to set covered until room temperature. Strain herbs, pour into a glass spray bottle.

How to use:

Shake well before use.

Part hair into sections and spray directly to the scalp, massaging in with fingertips.

This spray does not need to be rinsed out. Can be used on dry or damp hair. I use a few sprays everyday, on my scalp and hair.

As this recipe does not contain any type of preservative, this needs to be refrigerated and used within 1 to 2 weeks.

Rosemary - Salvia rosmarinus: Revered for its DHT-blocking properties, rosemary stimulates blood flow to the scalp and encourages thicker, fuller hair.

Lavender - Lavandula angustifolia: Soothing and calming, lavender helps ease inflammation, supports follicle strength, and is believed to promote growth cycles.

Nettle - Urtica dioica: Rich in silica, sulfur, and iron, nettle stimulates hair growth and helps minimize shedding.
